Jazz in Film

Event Description

“A film without music is boring, people won’t recognise their favourite scenes,” Grammy and Emmy-winning Hollywood composer James Newton Howard declared a few years back. We agree with that 100%.

Which is also why we have prepared an extraordinary and very much in-demand performance of Jazz in Film. The Loop Jazz Orchestra, co-founded by Jan Hasenöhrl with Lukáš Chejn and others, together with the pianist, arranger, composer, flautist, artistic director Vít Pospíšil will guide the audience through well-known melodies that are some of the mainstays of the silver screen.

The experience will be augmented by the excellent acoustics and retro Eighties design of our Hostivař music club.
