Event Description
The Prague Proms Festival continues its cherished tradition this year—once again featuring the audience favourite, Hollywood Night, among the highlights of its programme. This concert, celebrating the very best of film music, will as always take place in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House. Following last year’s success, British composer, conductor, and music director Chris Egan returns to the podium. His extensive experience spans film, television, and theatre music, as well as large-scale live productions. His keen sense of detail and dynamic interpretation bring a fresh dimension to the world of film melodies. In collaboration with him, the programme will include several new soundtracks presented at Hollywood Night for the very first time. Of course, beloved classics by Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, and other great composers whose music has left an indelible mark on the history of world cinema will also be featured.
